Admissions Process 2026 - 2027
Intake for the 2027–2028 school year begins in January 2027.
Our formal Open House will take place on Saturday, January 23rd from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., where you will have the opportunity to tour Cornerstone School, meet our staff and learn about our philosophy and academic programs.
In addition, we will have registration open for group assessment sessions, which will take place on Saturday, January 30th.

Join us on Saturday, January 23rd from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to tour the school, meet our teachers, and register your child for a group assessment session.
Student Assessments
Saturday, January 30
Registered children will participate in a group assessment containing 10–12 students.
Notification of Acceptance
Friday, February 5
Families will be contacted regarding their child’s admission status following the assessments.
Registration Deadline
Friday, February 19
All registration packages and the $1,000 non-refundable deposit must be submitted by this date to secure your child’s place.

Students will not complete formal tests. Instead, they will join a mock class that includes circle time, practical life, sensorial, and small-group activities.
Teachers will introduce Montessori materials and observe students’ engagement, social readiness, and overall readiness for a Montessori classroom.

Students will meet with teachers in a small-group setting.
They will participate in short reading sessions and simple educational assessments designed to help us understand their current levels in language arts and mathematics.

Students will meet in a small-group setting with one of our intermediate teachers.
They will participate in reading, writing, and mathematics activities while interacting with the teacher, allowing us to gain a general understanding of their academic skills and classroom readiness.
